Most homeowners find it impossible to work with their mortgage company, or that the solutions offered are unaffordable. We will help you to obtain all of the pertinent facts concerning your mortgage, the history of your mortgage, and very importantly, the INVESTOR on your mortgage. The mortgage company that you know is only servicing your mortgage for an investor. Investors have programs to get you back on track with your mortgage so you do not have to lose your home. Many of these programs can lower your mortgage payment and your interest rate. Your mortgage company will not tell you your rights or what you are entitled to through these investor programs, because it is against company policy. It is a mistake to provide financial information over the phone unless you are properly informed with knowledge we can share with you.

T. Clay Lehmann – Background.

Clay Lehmann, now in his mid fifties founded American Foreclosure Prevention, a firm that has specialized as its name implies, in the field of foreclosure prevention, loss mitigation or loan modifications, his consultation practice covers many areas of personal financial topics. Some of us are destined to stay within the structure of large business and others like Clay leave the larger company to become an advocate for the homeowner with a financial challenge.

Clay is well qualified to provide these consulting services. He has been working within the banking and financial industry his entire career. He has a BBA in Accounting from the University of Cincinnati. He began his career in the late 1970s with the Certified Public Accounting firm, Arthur Andersen & Co., which at that time was the largest CPA firm in the world. Subsequent to public accounting, he was a chief financial officer in industry for 20 years, which included three public companies.

With 30 years of financial experience behind him Clay became interested in real estate investing. He quickly acquired a significant number of rental units, and then began to look into foreclosure investing. He was dismayed after attending several seminars on purchasing foreclosure properties; the seeming lack of concern for the homeowner was appalling. The field of short-sales or foreclosure investing seemed to invite selfish people who did very little to help the home-owner. Clay is uncomfortable in that environment. As he says, "I don't buy ugly houses, or even pretty ones, I help people keep the home they have by sharing his knowledge!" Also, AFP has never taken a dime of revenue from an investor who buys houses; to do so would be a conflict of interest with Loss Mitigation/Loan Modification services. AFP's only source of income is derived from consulting with homeowners on an array of personal finance topics.

Clay quickly realized the need for a company that solely focused on consulting with homeowners. If you simply want to dump your house and walk away then don't call Clay.
